A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. We use a small number of them, and we ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary.

Strictly necessary — always active
Required for the site to function. These are set without consent because the service cannot be delivered without them, and they are never used to track you across other websites.
Preferences — optional
Remembers choices you make so the site behaves consistently, such as whether you prefer the light or dark appearance.
Analytics — optional, not currently in use
Would give us anonymous statistics on which pages are read and how visitors arrive, so we can improve them. We do not run any analytics tool at present. If we add one, we will update this page and ask for your consent again before it loads.
Marketing — optional, not currently in use
Would be used to measure advertising campaigns and show relevant course offers elsewhere. We do not run any advertising or tracking pixels at present.

Signing in with Google may also set cookies controlled by Google. Those are governed by Google's own privacy and cookie policies, not this one.
3. Changing your mind
You can change your choices at any time — — or use the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of any page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in and using the dashboard.
