This policy explains how Stock Market Coaching India(“we”, “us”) collects and handles personal data when you use www.stockmarketcoachingindia.com. We are the data fiduciary for that data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Data we collect
When you book a consultation
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Your message and the date and time slot you request
When you create an account
- Name, email address and profile photo — either supplied by you, or received from Google if you choose to sign in with Google
- A securely hashed password, if you register with email and password
- Optional profile details you choose to add: phone number, trading experience level, trading knowledge and a short description about yourself
When you use the dashboard
- Support tickets and feedback you submit
- Which trade illustrations you choose to follow, and any outcome you record
- News items you save
- Session records: a session token, your IP address, browser user-agent, and the time you were last active

- Your IP address and user-agent, used for rate limiting and to block automated abuse of our forms

We do not collect your PAN, Aadhaar, bank account details, demat account details, trading account credentials or any other financial account information. Never send these to us. We have no need for them and will not ask for them.
2. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not use it to profile you for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the site, and only to the extent they need it:
- Google — if you sign in with Google, to authenticate you
- Our email provider — to deliver booking confirmations and account notifications
- Ably — to deliver real-time dashboard updates; it receives your account identifier, not your contact details
- Our hosting and database providers — to store and serve the application
Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where data is transferred abroad, it is transferred only to countries not restricted by the Central Government under the DPDP Act, and our providers are bound by contract to protect it.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to — for example in response to a valid order from a court or authority.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries — up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so we can follow up and avoid contacting you twice
- Account and profile data — for as long as your account is open, and up to 12 months after you ask us to close it
- Support tickets and feedback — up to 24 months after the ticket is closed
- Sessions — deleted when they expire, when you sign out, or when you sign in on another device (we allow one active session per account)
- Saved news — until you unsave it or close your account
We keep data longer only where a law requires it, or where it is needed for an ongoing legal claim.
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, or complete data that is incomplete
- Ask us to erase your data where we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected
- Withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved
You can edit most of your profile data yourself from the dashboard. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it, and may mean we can no longer provide parts of the service.
6. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Traffic is served over HTTPS. Sessions are limited to one active device per account, and are revoked immediately if an account is suspended. Access to the admin dashboard is limited to authorised staff.
No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required by law.
7. Children
Our training is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and we will change the “last updated” date above. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified to account holders by email.
